Bay Area Greenscapes was founded in 2010 by Wayne Ortland, President of Bay Area Drainage Co. The Bay Area Drainage customers so appreciated the quality of work that they asked Wayne to also provide landscaping services.
As a family-owned business, we take a team approach at Bay Area Greenscapes. From setting your appointment with Michelle, to working with Paul on your landscape plan, to saying hello to foreman Javier each day, we take customer service seriously.
Paul Perillo manages all the greenscape projects. He began his career in landscape design at 10 years old when he built a trail to the Rimer Creek for his mother as well as mowing lawns at 13 years old. He has a degree in anthropology and environmental sciences from Cal State-East Bay.
He’s been working in landscaping for over 20 years. He worked at an East Bay Nursery for 6 years and also sold plants for the largest container grown plant distributor on the West Coast. He joined sister company Bay Area Drainage 12 years ago and got his contractor’s license in 2010 to help create Bay Area Greenscapes.
